NRG R1 Pyranometer

DETAILS

The NRG R1 Pyranometer is a highly accurate class A pyranometer, compliant with ISO 9060:2018 standards. The R1 is a thermopile sensor with two concentric domes for optimal insulation from wind and dust, reducing sensitivity to thermal irradiance and protecting spectral sensitivity.

The NRG R1 is available with digital output via Modbus RTU or analog output for maximum flexibility depending on your solar resource measurement system’s configuration. The sensor is electrically isolated from any mounting surface and features built-in surge protection to improve ESD resistance.

The R1 is fully supported throughout NRG’s solar product offerings including seamless integration with the LOGR-S Data Logger, SymphoniePRO Data Logger, and mounting support for Flare SRA and SRM Systems. Each NRG R1 Pyranometer comes with an ISO 9060-certified calibration report including sensitivity, directional response, and temperature dependence characterization and validation.
